TV Tech Summit to showcase advances in sports news and technology

The TV Tech Summit on Nov. 17 will feature technology and broadcast executives from NBC, CBS, Hearst and Sinclair who will discuss the latest technological advances in news, sports and television production.

Rick Ducey, CEO of BIA Advisory Services, will kick off the summit with a keynote on the latest business and technology trends in the media and entertainment industry. Panels featuring executives from Hearst, CNBC, Sinclair and CBS will discuss how the cloud and remote production are revolutionizing the industry.

Local CBS station executives will offer a look at WWJ’s new news facility in Detroit, which is slated to be up and running before the end of the year, and we’ll also talk with Dave Mazza and Darryl Jefferson , who lead the teams that produce the NBC Olympics. coverage
