Paint the town green and gold Applications open




Mandi and Mark Cooper of Board and Brush in Russellville accepted the overall award for the 2021 Paint the Town Green and Gold contest.

Arkansas Tech University and the Russellville Area Chamber of Commerce are hosting the seventh annual Paint the Town Green and Gold competition.

Companies and organizations participating in Paint the Town Green and Gold will decorate the interior and/or exterior of their places of business at Arkansas Tech with themes during the week of September 6-10.

The deadline to enter the competition is Monday, August 29 at 5:00 p.m. The trial will take place on Thursday, September 1. Winners will be recognized at ATU’s first home football game of the 2022 season on Saturday, September 10.

Prizes will be awarded including the traveling Paint the Town Green and Gold trophy for overall champion, best indoor display, best first time entry and technical pride. Arvest and City Corporation are the 2022 sponsors of Paint the Town Green and Gold.
