Confluent selects Kinaxis for supply chain solutions

Kinaxis has been selected by Confluent Medical Technologies to digitize and introduce an advanced supply chain planning capability for greater agility to order changes, planning accuracy and inventory management.

Confluent Medical Technologies is a contract manufacturing solution, supporting the design, development and manufacturing of implants, minimally invasive delivery systems and medical devices used in challenging applications.

Headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona, Confluent operates eight locations worldwide. The company will use the Kinaxis RapidResponse platform to gain full transparency across its entire supply chain. Jeffrey McCoun, vice president of global supply chain at Confluent, said: “We work with customers to move ideas from prototype to high-volume production of products that can help people around the world. For us as it is important to our company and our customers to stay agile in the face of global disruption while being able to plan accurately at scale.Kinaxis’ platform is aligned with the needs of our businesses and we are excited to work with them in transforming our digital supply chain.”

With Kinaxis, Confluent will have full transparency of its supply chain, the ability to run multiple simulations and collaborate in real-time, and leverage a suite of applications to provide the agility and flexibility needed. Confluent joins a growing life sciences network within Kinaxis.
