The local insurance company is setting up a gift card giveaway

Gift card to Couchiching Craft Brewing Co. in play as McLean & Dickey celebrates 100 years

How often do companies reach 100 years? As an Orillia family independent insurance brokerage, McLean & Dickey decided that achieving such a prestigious milestone was an opportunity to give back to the community.

While the company supports and sponsors many local charities, doing something more led to the idea for a year of monthly gifts.

“It’s an opportunity for us to say thank you for supporting us over the past 100 years,” said Danielle Tisi, president of McLean & Dickey.

Each month, the company holds a drawing for a $100 gift card to a local business to celebrate some of the great experiences and places that make this a great place to live. From great outdoor spots to favorite coffee shops, the company focuses on a different favorite and shares it with the community. Prizes include gift cards to Hardwood Ski and Bike and Hill’s Maple Leaf Restaurant. In June, the brokerage gave away two weekend passes to the sold-out Mariposa Folk Festival.

The final giveaway is a $100 gift card to Couchiching Craft Brewing Co.
