The Gobbler Giveaway – The Sun-Gazette Newspaper

If you would like to register for food, go to the following web address: Each church is collecting the following miscellaneous items to include in each box: a turkey or ham; 2x boxes of stuffing mix; 3x cans of green beans; 2x cans of cranberry sauce; a box of instant potatoes; 1 can of yams; a box of cornbread mix; and a ready-to-bake dessert.

We will be handing out these boxes in conjunction with our annual community thanksgiving worship and celebration service. This year it will be held on Tuesday, November 22 at 6 pm at the First Presbyterian Church located at 200 SE Street in Exeter.

The collection of food will take place between 19.00 and 19.45 h. There are no restrictions on who can sign up, but we only ask for one cash register per household. To sign up just go to: Food provided this year by: The Exeter Church of Christ; New Life Assembly of God; Abundant Life Tabernacle; First Presbyterian Church; The bridge; Exeter Church of God; Exeter Church of the Nazeareno; Exeter Church of God (The Gathering); and other local brothers and sisters in Christ.

If you would like to join us in this effort, you can donate by mailing checks made out to the Exeter Ministerial Association, PO Box 141, Exeter CA 93221. Be sure to mark the subject line: Gobbler.
