Several back-to-school gifts this weekend in Youngstown

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Several back to school giveaways will be happening in Youngstown this Saturday.

Vibez restaurant and event center

Vibez Restaurant and Event Center will hold a back-to-school raffle from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at 914 E. Midlothian Blvd.

They will be giving away school supplies, backpacks, uniforms and food and will be holding raffles. It’s enough to help over 100 children.

Homestead Park

Another back-to-school giveaway will be held at Homestead Park from 1 to 5 p.m

The event will offer free haircuts, face painting, manicures and braids and will feature bounce houses for the kids. Special backpacks will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

The event will have Spanish-speaking volunteers to serve the Hispanic community.

Mt. Calvary Pentecostal Church

The Pentecostal church of Mt. Calvary will host a back-to-school party from 12 to 5 p.m

The church will be giving away 100 backpacks, school supplies, food, free haircuts and braids. They will have vendors, bounce houses, games and more.
