There is a Pokemon Go Twitch Code Giveaway this week for the 2022 Pokemon World Championships, and with limited research time to play, you don’t want to miss it!

Codes will be given out throughout the event, and while they must be redeemed quickly in Pokemon Go, the good news is that you’ll have multiple chances throughout the three days to get one.

This page explains the different ones Pokemon Go Twitch Code Delivery Schedules as part of the wider Pokemon World Championship Twitch Schedule.

The latest Pokemon Go Twitch codes and how to use them

During World Championship broadcasts, the official Pokémon Go account will regularly post a code in the Twitch chat for you to redeem.

  • The latest Pokemon Go Twitch code, released at 10am UK time on Friday, is G7DW52LCKFTVW.

This will unlock the Team Building research quest and must be redeemed within the time of being shared. There are details on how to do this with our how to redeem promo codes explainer.

In addition to the above, there is a code to redeem for event-specific avatar items. This will expire at the end of Sunday after the event ends, so be sure to redeem before then: WRGUZRVKRR2M3.

Previous Expired Codes (Friday):

  • QAVH6MXRZ3XU3 (Posted Friday 9am UK time)

Previous Expired Codes (Thursday):

  • TTYKCVDLP7K5C (Posted Thursday 9am UK time)
  • R3YJVKBDH5RUH (Posted Thursday 10am UK time)
  • NSNATBHDNNTDU (Published Thursday 11am UK time)
  • DESQFCLP4CDPP (published Thursday 12pm UK time)
  • 947F4SY9LHBS7 (Posted Thursday 1pm UK time)
  • P7Y2G5M3SJF44 (Posted Thursday 2pm UK time)
  • VVRBFQV7S4BQP (Posted Thursday 3pm UK time)
  • 4YW5Z4EB6RV8U (Posted Thursday 4pm UK time)

If a code doesn’t work, you’ll need to get a new code posted the next hour (or, if the event has ended, the next day). Also, you can only redeem one code and all codes unlock the same Team Building quest. Finally, Niantic has said that it may experience issues with redeemed codes due to volume, so if that happens, please try again soon.

With the bot sending code non-stop, we hope everything works for you. The start of the stream had a confusing launch, however, with a lot of chat spam and no codes until half an hour after Niantic’s announced time.

Now, though, it’s hard to miss a code, and as far as we can tell, redemption is going well. Enjoy the search!

Pokemon Go Twitch code delivery times in UTC, UK / BST, CEST, EDT and PDT

By tuning into the official Pokemon Go Twitch channel during the Pokemon World Championships, you can get an exclusive Team Building quest.

The codes will be given away in Twitch chat for the three days during the following times.

Since Niantic has confirmed that there will be “multiple opportunities to receive a code throughout the broadcast,” there’s no need to watch from the beginning. It remains to be seen how many chances we’ll have to claim a code, though with the event running for multiple hours over three days, it’s expected to be accessible from multiple time zones.

Twitch stream times for Thursday, August 18 (as of 7:30 UTC):

  • United Kingdom: 8:30am to 5:00pm (BST)

  • US East Coast: 3:45 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. (EDT)
  • US West Coast: 12:45 PM to 8:00 AM (PDT)

Note: The end times above are based on when the Twitch stream ends (according to the schedule below). This, of course, may vary, especially since the earlier times listed by Niantic are slightly different than when the actual event begins, as specified in the Pokemon Company’s official streaming schedule.

In short, there could be some variation that we may not be aware of, so it might be worth checking midway through the event, rather than the tail end, just to be sure.

Go season is here! The last event is the Pokemon World Championship mission, which also has a Twitch code giveaway for a Team Building mission. Elsewhere, be sure to use the Daily Adventure Incense for a chance to encounter Galarian Articuno, Galarian Zapdos, and Galarian Moltres. There’s also a new special quest: A Mysterious Incense. While Go Fest 2022 may be behind us, there are still three special quests you could be working on: Pokémon Go Fest 2022, Rhi’s Arrival, and A Radiant World. The Candy XL requirement has also been reduced this season and the first Ultra Beasts have been introduced, along with new Prime Gaming rewards every fortnight.
