MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee Athletics has released the 2022-23 non-conference women’s and men’s basketball promotional calendar, which includes theme nights, giveaways and the ongoing 50th Murphy Center Anniversary.
The boys’ basketball team announced its non-conference schedule with a victory at the Glass House in front of 4,700 Rutherford County elementary students (7,047 total attendance) for the first varsity game since 2019. After a quick trip on the road, the Blue Raiders host Rice in the Conference USA opener on Nov. 15th for a Sweet Steal Night with Blue Raider Partner, Nothing Bundt Cakes for National Bundt Cake Day!
The Blue Raiders return home in December for three in-state matchups: Maryville, Chattanooga and Murray State.

The women’s basketball program has a tough non-conference schedule to go along with some big celebrations, including the annual Christmas game at the Murphy Center and the Murfreesboro City Schools educational game. The Lady Raiders open their season at home Nov. 16 against Belmont, which won an NCAA Tournament game last year, before hosting Tennessee Tech on Dec. 1 for its annual Day Education. The Lady Raiders will finish the calendar year at home against No. 7 Louisville (Dec. 4) and Houston (Dec. 14).

No matter what game you’re attending, Blue Raider fans of all ages will find something fun to do in the concourse. The Family Fun Zone, filled with inflatables and activities for Little Blue Raider fans, will be set up on the west side behind Sections K & J.
In December, the Blue Raider Beer Garden will make its debut in the Murphy Center at the top of Section D. Open to all fans 21 and older, the Blue Raider Beer Garden features local craft beers and a place to socialize while you see Blue Raider Basketball. .
Don’t miss your chance to be inside the Murphy Center! Season tickets are still on sale. Men’s season tickets are $175 per seat and women’s season tickets are $125 per seat, or fans can purchase a combination of men’s and women’s season tickets for the discounted price of $230.
