Need a Thanksgiving turkey? you are in luck

For more than a decade, the Thomas J. Henry Law Firm has distributed Thanksgiving roosters to more than 350,000 people throughout the South Texas region. This year, families can line up at four locations on Saturday, November 19 for a free turkey. Unlike in past years, the giveaways will not use a drive-thru system.

Here’s everything you need to know.

Where are the places for the gifts?

This year’s giveaway locations are in Alice, San Diego, Freer and Corpus Christi. Raffles start between 8am and noon.

• Alice: It runs from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. at the Jim Wells County Fairgrounds, 3001 South Johnson St., Alice. Enter from South Johnson Street.
• San Diego: It runs from 9 to 10 a.m. at San Diego City Hall, 404 S. Mier St., San Diego. Enter from Calle Setè.
• Freer: Runs from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Duval-Freer Airport, 5348 E. Highway 44, Freer. Enter from South Bus Loop.
• Body of Christ: It runs from noon to 3 pm at the Thomas J. Henry Center office, 521 Starr St., Corpus Christi. The line starts at Lower Broadway and Starr Street.

How to get a free turkey

The law firm will limit one turkey per family. The family representative must be 18 years of age or older.

The law firm will not deliver and turkeys will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Some families have been lining up since 2 a.m., according to the law firm.
