The Museum of Idaho announces details of the third annual fundraising gala

Save money; buy your tickets in advance

Please join us on Friday, August 26, 2022 as the community is invited to one of the biggest events of the year held at the Museum of Idaho.

The purpose of the gala is to raise money to maintain world-class exhibits that come to the MOI each year, making it the only museum in Idaho to offer such renowned traveling exhibits. The goal is to continue serving the community through the museum’s great educational opportunities, including: classes offered throughout the year, traveling exhibits, maintaining and expanding the Way Out West exhibit, and increasing the col · collection of files to make it more accessible to the public.

Because MOI receives no federal, state, or local government funding, the museum relies solely on donors and fundraising efforts to continue bringing Idaho to the world and the world to Idaho. Every dollar raised goes back to the museum so it can continue to serve the community.

This year, the museum is honored to present a special message of support from Idaho Governor Brad Little. The gala will also feature: bottomless champagne, a DJ from AndX Entertainment, live music from the Dewdroppers, canapés and hors d’oeuvres from the tray, three bars and chances to win during our raffle and silent auction (live Friday, August). 19).

Exciting prizes include: Opportunities to name some of our exhibit items, vacation packages, an Orlando Resort timeshare stay, sports memorabilia and even Alaska Airlines tickets anywhere in country

During the 2021 gala, the museum was able to raise more than $30,000. This year, MOI hopes to exceed that goal to help maintain and expand the museum’s offerings to the community.

$100 per ticket, when purchased online ($110 at the door).

$30 for bottomless champagne (non-alcoholic options also available) – includes commemorative glass
