Community members will distribute “Blessing Baskets” during the annual Thanksgiving Blessing Basket Raffle on Sunday afternoon.
Thanksgiving Blessing Baskets will bring abundance to many this holiday season and the distribution will be first come, first served by car at 2:00pm on November 13th.
The nonprofit Oklahoma Blessing Boxes has a mission to “spread God’s love by providing emergency hunger relief with non-perishable food to bridge the gap for the food insecure in Oklahoma.” The Blessing Basket helps with this mission by delivering food and other essential items to those who may be without it.
Dr. Kim Weaver of Weaver Clinics said they are grateful for those who donated and volunteered.
“We would like to thank Gary Criswell Auction Service & Real Estate for their generous donation to make the baskets possible,” he said. “Thank you to Hannah Renfro for coordinating, purchasing and planning the baskets, thank you to Kandy Byas for helping us get baskets and Bibles from Dollar Tree (and) thank you to the staff and patients at Weaver Clinics for donating and volunteering. We are grateful for all.”
