DUBLIN, CA — Dublin residents can get a free cake and stroll down to Nothing Bundt Cakes on Sept. 1, where the chain will give away free confetti packages to the first 250 guests.
The drawing, which is held at all 450 locations in the Golden State and the nation, is to celebrate the store’s 25th anniversary.
Residents can visit the Dublin store at 7106 Dublin Boulevard.
The chain will also host an online contest in which one lucky winner will receive a $25,000 birthday party planned by a celebrity party planning company. Each finalist will receive a $1,000 Nothing Bundt Cake gift card.
Entrants can enter by submitting a photo of their favorite birthday memory, describing what they liked and sharing what the winning party would mean to them, the company said. The franchise will accept submissions from September 1-25. Winners will be announced on the contest website in October.

Nothing Bundt Cakes started as a small baking business out of the home kitchens of co-founders Dena Tripp and Debbie Shwetz in 1997. They quickly rose to fame for their moist and decadent bundt cakes topped with cream cheese frosting.
