BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KERO) — The non-profit medical foundation CSF and Cirugía Sin Fronteras will hold a food raffle on Friday, December 9th. The event will start at 9 am
The food distribution event is in partnership with the Community Action Association Food Bank of Kern (CAPK) and aims to provide food indiscriminately due to rising food costs and inflation. According to a press release from the non-profit medical foundation CSF, the event is a “free food distribution in response to the staggering rising costs of basic food and in support of families who are still deeply affected because of the pandemic.”
The free food drive will take place across the street from the Bakersfield College football stadium.
