#BuyDonegal Week 1 Focused Designers & Makers & Giveaways – Donegal Daily

This week marks Design Week Ireland 2022 which is run by the Design and Crafts Council Ireland (DCCI) offering a program of events, talks and conferences focusing on why design matters.

Design matters a lot in Donegal and Design Week offers an opportunity to showcase some of the 131 designers and makers listed on BuyDonegal.com with businesses ranging from handmade jewellery, clothing, digital prints, candle and soap makers.

One such example is Pixalili Limited, a print and textile design studio in Downings, Co. Donegal. The family business with the help of its large digital printer called ‘Florence’ prints on natural fabrics with ecological pigment inks. Morag’s collaboration with Rita Wilson Photography, who provide her mounts and frames, also captures the cross-business collaboration that is such an important part of the #BuyDonegal campaign.
