10 Winners Walk Away With $1,000 Each As KXLG Summer Giveaway Ends | Local news

The 13thth KXLG’s annual Summer Cash Sweepstakes has come to an end! It’s hard to believe another summer is over, but at least ten people walked away with $1,000 in cash to spend on any of the different promotion sponsors! Many other winners also walked away with $100 gift cards to the various sponsors.

Around 4:30pm tonight (8/17/22), KXLG and Reliabank employees were ready to record qualifiers, pass out some hot dogs and listen to the band “2n.d Opinion” at the Reliabank North Highway 81 location.

All summer long, for ten weeks, KXLG aired qualifiers and qualifiers scanned QR codes at participating sponsors; a total of 30 sponsors have joined the promotion this year. After the qualifiers were registered, at 6:00 p.m., the cash giveaway began by playing “Let’s Make a Deal,” but first, if you also brought a donation for the Glacial Lakes Humane Society, your name was put into a drawing for a $250 Dutch Boy Car Wash gift card.

Ten names were drawn five in total rounds, i each The round featured two “zonks” (but we still hooked them up with a KXLG shirt), two $1,000 cash winners, and six $100 gift card winners.

In the end, there were ten $1,000 winners, 30 $100 gift card winners to sponsors, and ten “zonks.” The $1,000 winners chose from 30 sponsors where and how much they wanted to spend on the sponsors.
