Who do the experts think will win week 8

Russell Wilson might need another week, but it might not matter in London. The Broncos continue to struggle on offense, averaging 27 points over their last three games. That below (39.5) looks good. Jacksonville has lost four straight by eight points or fewer, and is 0-2 S/U as a favorite.

Predicted score: Jaguars 23, Broncos 16

Despite the narrow defeat [in Week 7], Denver managed to get within one play of the game thanks to a heroic effort by its defense, which has been the third best in the league this week. Russell Wilson is questionable for the game but was expected to return for Sunday’s game. We picked Denver last week and we’re not afraid to pick them again.

Denver is one of the best teams in the league at getting to the quarterback. He has pressured opposing QBs on 26.3% of dropbacks, fourth in the NFL. Pursuing Lawrence and forcing him to make bad throws is the Broncos’ best chance to win this game, given their offensive woes. But they’ll have to find a way to do it without tons of help on the rim for team-leading Chubb (5.5).

Predicted score: Jaguars 18, Broncos 15

Wilson’s arm and mobility may be limited or compromised if he adjusts to this contest, which doesn’t bode well for the league’s lowest-scoring offense. As for the Jaguars, they’ve lost by eight points or fewer in four straight weeks, but running back Travis Etienne Jr. has burst onto the NFL scene, averaging at least 7.1 yards per carry in each of his last three games. He will lead the Jaguars to a victory over the Broncos, who are allowing 4.7 yards per rush attempt (23rd in the league). – Maurice Moton

Predicted score: Jaguars 20, Broncos 16

The Jaguars also have five losses on the season, but all five have been one-possession games. Their offense moves the ball most weeks. Trevor Lawrence might struggle against Denver, but I’m confident the Jaguars will do enough to win by a field goal in London.
