Gaming doesn’t get much better than having an old console in your attic and seeing it still work, or discovering a game you haven’t played until now, completely forgot about, and even exists. The sad reality is that now more than ever, some old games are being destroyed, with little or no chance of ever being played again. Players share a wide variety of brilliant examples.
GAMER’S DAY VEHICLES DAY DAY.
The discussion was started by multievolution on ResetEra. They asked others for content they liked that you can no longer access, or content that was never made widely available in the first place. In the example of Multievolution war activities, I often find lost content in old Pokemon games. While using Swarm Ancestors, if they don’t survive, the Pokémon Emerald exploded. Dragons, but the cannon and silver sitting in the lullaby are a wild creature.
After over 2800 hours, I think I’m finally done with Destiny 2.
Pokemon has not made further appearances in the thread, but several other games have lost or forgotten content. Destiny 2 is first on this list. If the super popular MMO is on your list of games you want to play, you’ll want to keep an eye out for this much more complex story. It’s not just the content that’s there to stream, it’s also very important to visit YouTube.
A few examples offered by frustrated players are a little less common. Someone shared the extremely complex guide you need to navigate Star Wars Jedi Knight: Mysteries Of The Sith bonus level. The older Monster Hunter games are definitely mentioned. One answer states that you can still fight Fatalis in the entire first game if you have a Japanese copy and use fanmade servers. That’s simple, right?
You would think that with technology and the desire for backwards compatibility having come so far, it would become a thing of the past that losing games and at least parts of them would have become part of the puzzle. Unfortunately, this is not the case. A significant portion of many older Ubisoft games will be lost next month when the platform shuts down. The Assassin’s Creed games on this list have held special events this month as a way to break down their online multiplayer element.
