Paradox Interactive comes to a new NG Across The Obelisk

Paradox Interactive has finally released its deck-building RPG Across the Obelisk after nearly a year and a half before it began early access. Dreamsite Games owns this title, first published by Paradox Arc, with the company’s mandate to create and publish “highly replayable” games developed by smaller developers at all levels of the world. While more games will be available (and will likely be announced at Gamescom 2022 or PDXCON 2022), this is the one they’re releasing today. The game is free today on all PC platforms for $15, or if you’ve already played it in Early Access, just upgrade the game. All the best, you enter this new title.

You can play alone or with at least three other players. A wary monster is the king of shards. Each of you will control a fighting hero, but you will have to work together and decide what should be best for a team of people. Do you really help the farmers with a group of scary little demons? Choose from 12 believable characters and form your party. They each have their own cards, items, mechanics, stats, and strengths. Isn’t playing a fire witch the same as a shadow mage, do you play with two healers or do you rather play with a damage oriented party?

Up to 500 cards available and 200 items to choose from, you can customize your heroes with different builds: poisons, bleeds, defensive skills, many types of combinations you can apply to each hero. It will be different. Make a path, fight it, complete missions and the world will change before you. There are many hidden places and mysteries to solve, waiting for you in Across The Obelisk.
