Mortal Kombat Leak Gives Up on Disappointing 30th Anniversary Plans

A new leak, associated with the Mortal Kombat video game franchise, has revealed some disappointing news to coincide with the series’ 30th anniversary. In early October, the initial Mortal Kombat game won the first two years. For these reasons, many fans wanted to see it as a special kind of celebration for the project, rather than re-releasing some older entries in the series. Unfortunately, it looks like the 30th anniversary comeback is coming. But it’s not what fans wanted.

Recently released on Amazon, it looks like a new Mortal Kombat 30th Anniversary pack is coming out next month. This bundle will be available in any previous installment of the franchise and contains Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate and the 2021 Mortal Kombat movie on Blu-Ray. This “ultimate 30th anniversary bundle” will be released on September 26 and is expected to include a special steelbook, featuring the new Mortal Kombat movie.

This pack isn’t for profit, but it’s definitely not something Mortal Kombat fans asked for. For a long time, many members of Mortal Kombat have been asking for remastered iterations of some of the original games. I think people have had great success with it over the years, and there have been many new iterations of Mortal Kombat, Mortal Combat 2, and Mortal Combat 3 on modern platforms. And while we hoped these games would be meant to celebrate Mortal Kombat’s three-decade history, we didn’t see that as the only desire in the long run.

Noticed anything about this imminently released Fall 2011 pack? And do you think new versions of the classic Mortal Kombat games will ever be released?
