The LaGrange volleyball team went 1-1 this week in back-to-back games on Wednesday and Thursday.
The Grangers fell in three sets to Harris County in the opener. LaGrange lost the sets 25-11, 25-10, 25-11.
LaGrange was able to get back in the win column Thursday by beating Opelika in five sets. LaGrange fell in the first set 17-25, but was able to fight back and win the next two sets 25-17 and 25-19. The fourth set proved back and forth with the Tigers looking for a 26-24 set win to extend the game into the fifth and final set. Granger came out on top with a final score of 17-15.
LaGrange improves to 2-1 overall on the season. The Farmers’ next game will be at home against rival Troup.
