Video game expert Tez2 said that Rockstar Games had plans to bring the game to GTA 6 with single-player DLC.
Considering the multiple reports that saw the recent report of Red Dead Redemption 2 and GTA 4 remasters being successful, Tez2 is considered pretty reliable. Posting on the GTA forums, the user claimed that the publishers would go back to their planned plans for DLC integration before GTA Online blew up and make a change.

GTA Online is a huge success after re-entering the triple digit platform. Also, since this game went viral, it has become more popular than it was at the beginning almost nine years ago. Although fans have continuously complained that there is no single player, DLC.
In Rockstars defense, this feature would have come out if GTA Online hadn’t produced such unexpected results.
Although Tez2 was mentioned earlier, Rockstar will be working on new cities and missions, before the release of GTA 6, we will not rush to give up resources for a new post-launch addition.
Rockstar will go back to how they planned future content before GTA Online’s success began, he wrote. The first wave of new cities and missions we’ll be getting as part of the DLC will definitely be planned before VI is expected to release. And Rockstar could put resources into any new titles they work on after the VI’s release.
As for new cities, I think most of us get new cities or islands for example. The kayo Perico style or the North Yankton style. Rockstar can then introduce a new heist in the next GTA Online mode with each new DLC. If we were lucky, we might get to a whole new city every time.
Rockstar planned substantial additions for the current iteration of GTA, but abandoned them in 2015 because they needed to allocate resources to RDR2 and, of course, GTA Online. Then they tried to get rid of the players, declaring the single player games, as it is, massive and completely complete, and it’s three games in one.
