Digital pre-orders of Modern Warfare 2 have early access to the campaign

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 campaign launches a week before the full game.

Some Call of Duty: Modern Warfare fans may get early access to its campaign a week earlier. It is now clear that those who pre-order the game digitally will be able to get early access to the campaign.

Early access to the campaign begins on October 20. It’s about a week ahead of the games scheduled for October 28th. If you order a digital copy, you’ll get two days before release.

The upfront incentive isn’t new to CoD. The Final Judgment pack actually includes Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. The pack is full of legends and ultimately useful weapon blueprints in Vanguard and Warzone.

The more expensive Vault Edition also has its own bonuses. There will likely be a few more playable operators and outfits available for purchase during the open beta. It’s worth noting that the Battle Pass and Level Jumps in Vault Editions are standard bonuses. They are valid after the booking window has ended.

The last time fans got into the Modern Warfare 2 campaign was back in June. The trailer showed off some iconic characters and some really cool water technology. The developers promised that the campaign will be a mix of stealth and action that chronicles the missions of Task Force 141.

Modern Warfare’s multiplayer will co-star alongside the upcoming Call of Duty news event next month. According to Activision, there will be a massive resurgence of the multi-hour event. The event will likely include key details about what titles fans can expect this year. The developers hope to expand the future of the franchise.
