One of the biggest discoveries of Cyberpunk 2077 is that you can only take another car for short rides. There is no way to stop them in other sandbox games as well, so the most attractive value will come from your “borrowed” ride until it dies. However, the Cyberpunk fan finally implemented a solution to fix this problem.
THE VIDEO OF THE GAME OF THE DAY OF GOD
Claim Vehicles, a mod by Nexus user DeepBlueFrog, does exactly what it says on the tin. And better yet, it even throws in a lore-friendly explanation of whether the V can take any car it wants. Vi, using the claim vehicles installed, is allowed access to the NPD’s power to “legally appropriate” any citizen’s wheels, transferring their car ID to you permanently.
How about the Cyberpunk video game?
As the title says in the document, the creator of DeepBlueFrog describes how the “Lawful appropriation and confiscation – 2055” ordinance works. The NCPD could, at any time, claim ownership of its own vehicles. It really matters whether he was actually involved in a crime or not, whether the cops want it or not is up to them. This is a beautiful human nightmare that fits Cyberpunk very well.
If you feel like going back from the start of the game, Viktor sets up V with the NCPD database. And now with this system, they can cut any car they want too.
We’ve always seen a fair bit of everything we’ve seen, because of the way the game will make vehicles that aren’t in the wild disappear. According to DeepBlueFrog, the model you want will be as close as possible. Head to the Afterlife parking lot – it looks like it’s home to all the coolest wheels.
Cyberpunk 2077 is available on PC via Steam and GOG. They will also be compatible with PlayStation, Xbox and Google Stadium.
