All games featured in the THQ Nordic Showcase

The THQ Nordic Showcase in August 2022 introduced the world to a number of new titles, while highlighting a handful of already announced and highly anticipated releases. From professional wrestling games to a new one Sponge Bob Square Pants spin-off, and even a wild one Alone in the dark restart: there were too many samples.

Here’s a quick rundown of everything the THQ Nordic Showcase has to offer and what to expect from the publisher in the future.

  • HandyGames presents: During a short preview, publisher HandyGames showed off a number of indie adventures, including A Rat’s Quest, Endling: Extinction is Forever, Perish, Lethal Honor: Order of the Apocalypse, Wreckfest Mobile, De-Exit: Eternal Matters and more
  • Alone in the dark: During the THQ Nordic Showcase, this classic horror game was officially confirmed Alone in the dark will receive a hard reset. This entry will be set in the American South, in a gothic manor house filled with spooky happenings. It will come to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Windows PC in the future, but no release date was provided.

  • Destroy all humans! 2: Failed: The upcoming remaster of Destroy all humans! 2 It was also shown off, with a brand new trailer highlighting laser gun shooting gameplay and plenty of destruction. The game starts August 30, 2022 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and Windows PC.
  • Space for sale: The next was Space for sale, a management sim where you are a tiny astronaut who buys his own solar system to create prosperous worlds.   • Jagged Alliance 3: A story trailer for a turn-based strategy game Jagged Alliance 3 was next in the THQ Nordic Showcase. This trailer highlighted the role of the player as a mercenary lord who seeks to rescue the president of Grand Chien. The game is coming to Windows PC.
  • The Brave: He also introduced himself The Brave, a real-time strategy game set during the Fifth Crusade in ancient Europe. This game can be played solo, co-op or multiplayer, and features a suitably gory campaign. Coming to Windows PC.
  • Tempest Rising: Join up Jagged Alliance 3 i The Brave it was another real time strategy game, Tempest Rising. In this game, you’ll be able to run through an alternate magical story where factions set off in search of a substance known as Tempest. The game will come to Windows PC in 2023.

  • Outcast 2: A New Beginning: For some relief, Outlaw 2 was the next. This open-world adventure is a sequel 20 years in development and looks to be full of alien-themed spaces and gameplay. Coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Windows PC.

  • Shipwrecked: Then, wreckage it was announced This game is a massive sandbox filled with ridiculous racetracks and lots of potential for explosions. The game will come to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Windows PC in the future.

  • AEW: Fight Forever: Next up was a trailer for the fighting game AEW: Fight Forever starring Britt Baker and Tony Schiavone. It showed a number of modes for fight forever including special coin collecting and throwing minigames that will give you a break from all that fighting. The title will be released for PC and consoles in the future.
  • Stuntfest: World Tour: Stunfest: World Tour was the next. This game seems to be based on recent titles like Republic of Riders – This is basically a multi-sport stunt game, with the main action featuring cars racing around wild tracks and players being thrown into the air. Coming to Windows PC.
  • Spongebob: The Cosmic Shake: The next Spongebob adventure, The cosmic beat received a major gameplay trailer during the THQ Nordic Showcase. This game is a spiritual sequel to Battle for the bikini bottom, and features similarly colored, bouncy platform adventures. Coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Windows PC and Nintendo Switch in the future.

South Park: To finish off the showcase, THQ Nordic left fans with a short teaser for an upcoming one South Park game, coming from ‘South Park Digital Studios’. Nothing about this project was revealed, only pixelated versions of the game’s main cast were shown before the presentation ended.
