ASU’s new business dean will begin the fall 2022 season of the Economic Club of Phoenix

The Economic Club of phoenix Speaker Series (ECP), organized by the WP Carey School of Business a Arizona State University — is celebrating its 38th anniversary and has become the main forum in the Valley for the exchange of ideas on business and economics.

Since the launch of the club January 1985the public has come to hear the leaders of the main companies and organizations of the phoenix area and beyond.

This season, one of those leaders is new Dean WP Carey. Another is the first Latino president and CEO in NHL history. Additionally, attendees will hear from the founder and CEO of the leading artificial intelligence assistant for recruiting.

“I look forward to kicking off the fall season of this long-running event and sharing our strategic plan, which will address critical areas of growth and opportunity for the school,” he said. Ohad Kadandean of the WP Carey School Business. “This is a plan for the entire business community, which sets out critical areas of development not only for our school, but for Arizonafor organizations and the economy”.

Tuesday, August 23
August ECP with a fireside chat with WP Carey Dean Ohad Kadanwho will share more information about the school’s five-year strategic plan, including topics on workforce development, real estate and environmental, social and government investment.

Tuesday, September 27

Tuesday, October 25
Spirit of Enterprise Award 2022 tribute Aaron Matosfounder and CEO of Paradox.

59th Annual ASU/PNC Bank Economic Forecast Luncheon with Economic Experts.

ECP virtual events are free and run from noon to 1 p.m (Arizona time), live on Zoom.

The 59th Annual ASU/PNC Bank Economic Forecast Luncheon is a paid event presented by the WP Carey Department of Economics. It is offered both in person and virtually, from 11:15 a.m. to 1:30 p.m (Arizona time).

The 2023 ECP season will be announced as details are finalised.
