The Hamden Police Department is investigating a robbery at the Connex Credit Union Wednesday afternoon.
Hamden officers responded to a reported robbery at the Connex Credit Union on Dixwell Avenue around 12:45 pm. According to police, the suspect entered the credit union and passed a note to the teller demanding money.
Police described the suspect as a woman between 5-foot-3 and 5-foot-5 with a dark complexion. He was wearing a blue hoodie and a surgical mask, police said.
No weapons were displayed and no one was injured, police said. The woman fled with an undisclosed amount of money, police said.
Detectives from the Hamden Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit and Crime Scene Unit are leading the investigation and are following several leads, police said.
