A Phoenix man died Friday in a motorcycle crash in Roseburg, and alcohol is believed to be a contributing factor, authorities said.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office reported this weekend that 23-year-old Kaulynn Lyle Shreeve was riding her dirt bike Friday around 11:45 p.m. when she failed to make a left turn with hit in the 5000 block of Sunshine Road.
Authorities say Shreeve, who was not wearing a helmet, was thrown from the bike and died at the scene, despite life-saving efforts.
The sheriff’s office did not immediately provide a representative to speak to the media, and it was unclear whether the crash was still under investigation Saturday.
