Arrests for crimes

Theft – Roman Paul Demarco, 32, no known address. Demarco was arrested Tuesday by Jackson County Sheriff’s Office deputies on warrants charging him with first-degree burglary, second-degree burglary, providing false information to police and a Medford Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear on a previous charge of resisting arrest. He was booked into the Jackson County Jail Friday.

Theft – Shauna J. Langford, 34, of the 500 block of Freeman Road, Central Point. Central Point police arrested Langford on Tuesday on charges of first-degree burglary, third-degree criminal mischief, second-degree burglary, second-degree disorderly conduct, second-degree trespassing, harassment and interfering with police. She was booked into jail on Wednesday.

Strangulation – Rodolfo Contreras, 31, of the 4900 block of Cabbage Lane, Phoenix. Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Contreras on Wednesday on charges of strangulation, felony fourth-degree assault and harassment. He was booked into the jail on Wednesday and was no longer a prisoner on Friday.

Assault – Bailey Jannae Gwinn, 21, of the 1800 block of East Barnett Road, Medford. Medford police arrested Gwinn on Wednesday on a charge of second-degree assault constituting domestic violence. She was also charged Thursday in Jackson County Circuit Court with one count of unlawful use of a weapon. She was locked up in jail on Friday.

Strangulation – Christopher Warren Wensel, 46, no known address. Medford police arrested Wensel Thursday on charges of felony strangulation constituting domestic violence and harassment. He was locked up in jail on Friday.

Theft – Michael Casey Houchins, 39, of the first block of North Peach Street, Medford. Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Houchins Thursday on charges of first-degree burglary and second-degree trespassing and warrants charging him with providing false information to police. He was booked into jail and released Thursday on his own recognizance.
