Arrests for crimes
Theft – Alexander Tony Shirmard, 19, of the 700 block of West Eighth Street, Medford. Medford police arrested Shirmard on Saturday for first-degree robbery and fourth-degree assault. He was being held Monday in the Jackson County Jail without bond.
Assault – Juan Miguel Alfaro-James, 38, of the first block of Rose Avenue, Medford. Medford police arrested Alfaro-James on Sunday on a felony charge of fourth-degree assault constituting domestic violence. He was jailed Monday without bail.
elude- Hunter Allen Cady, 23, of the 800 block of Garfield Street, Medford. Jackson County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Cady Sunday on felony counts of attempting to elude police in a vehicle and misdemeanor counts of attempting to elude police on foot, driving under the influence of drugs and reckless driving. He was jailed Monday without bail.
drugs – Tara A. Logan, 47, of the 200 block of Via Linda Circle, Gold Hill. Medford police arrested Logan on Sunday for felony possession of methamphetamine. She was booked into jail and released Sunday on her own recognizance.
Assault – Alissa Migliore Weaver, 54, of the 5900 block of Highway 238, Jacksonville. Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Weaver on Sunday on a felony count of second-degree assault constituting domestic violence and a misdemeanor count of fourth-degree assault and harassment. She was jailed Monday without bail.
