“The Last Cowboy” is being picked up for a highly anticipated third season on CMT

From “Yellowstone” co-creator Taylor Sheridan, the record-setting million-dollar competition chronicles the world of winner-take-all horse reduction.

NASHVILLE, TN – (October 28, 2022) – CMT announced today that “The Last Cowboy” has returned for an exciting third season. From Academy(R) nominee and “Yellowstone” co-creator Taylor Sheridan, the high-stakes competition series returns Friday, November 18 at 10p/8c.

The Last Cowboy takes a look at the lives of modern-day cowboys and cowgirls as they compete in the sport of riding horses – a Western-based competition that involves horses being guided through a precise pattern of circles, turns and stops by their riders experienced – and get ready for “The Run for a Million”. This season plunges into grueling preparation as riders train to elevate and preserve their cowboy traditions in this trying athletic event. This year’s specialist participants include:
